4 Color Process
What is 4 Color Process?
It’s a way of printing full-color images using just four ink colors: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (K). Known as CMYK.
Tiny dots of these four inks are layered and mixed on the paper (or packaging) — kind of like pixels on a screen. When combined in different amounts, they create the illusion of millions of colors, so you can print photos, gradients, and detailed artwork.
Why Use 4 Color Process?
4 color process prints full color images, reproducing photos, gradients and complex artwork. It is also very cost effective, much cheaper than printing dozens of spot colors. Lastly, by using these 4 colors, we can achieve endless color range.
