I purchased this bag for a 17 inch laptop but it will not zip because the "17in" laptop doesn't fit!!! (Posted on 4/25/11)

If you are looking for a durable, well made, tough as nails messenger bag, look no further. The feel and quality of the bag is exceptional. I'd swear I could drag this behind my WRX and it would survive without a hitch. All of the seams and stitches are very tight. I love the all the markings on the organizers and pockets that tell you where everything goes. It's neat!

I've gotten lots of compliments on mine and a few jealous inquiries. It holds my Satellite A665 with extended battery just fine with enough room for a large organizer, mouse, cables, charger, and just about anything else I can throw in it. I just came from a job interview where I swear I had 20 pounds of stuff in there.

The handle is comfortable and durable and the shoulder strap pad is awesome! I could carry this all day and not feel bogged down. (Which is good because I could COMPLETELY pack a lunch in this thing WITH all the other things.)

First of all let me tell you that no matter what the description says or whether or not this bag shows up in your search options for 17 inch laptop bags (Beware). This bag does not fit a 17 inch laptop. 16.4 maybe but 15.6 is about as big as you want to go. I bought this bag for an Hp Dv7 because it is listed as able to carry a 17inch laptop. It fit very tight and only with a little tugging at the zipper, after a week of this the material completely came apart over the laptop from the stress. I'm not saying a seam came out, the material itself literally started to disintegrate I ended up with a hole I could put my hand through in less than two weeks.

Now let me say that the bag is great if you don't stuff the wrong size computer into it. As the replacement that I was sent is holding up great with my smaller laptop that is in it now. Not a bag that is going to carry much other than your laptop and a notepad or two. If you don't mind carrying your books and your computer in separate bags then this is the bag for you. This is a great bag for those that need to carry around laptops and related gear. I bought the black version of the bag.
I just purchased my second bag, after my first one gave out after four years.
My wife refers to this bag as my "purse" - I take it everywhere.
The compartments are just right for carrying my gear, and, as an added benefit, the bag is very light, especially compared to its leather counterparts. The shoulder strap is very comfortable.
When this one wears out, I'll be looking for another! (Posted on 2/3/11)

I received a Hip-Hop bag as a promotional item for a work event I attended in 2007 and it is still in near-new shape. I love all the compartments, especially the two water-bottle holders on the sides. Very convenient for traveling and conferences! I can also fit my regular laptop and my netbook in it with room to spare. (Posted on 12/3/10)

I have had one of these bags since last year, and I love it so much that when my kids got laptops, I got two more for them and an additional one for my hubby! Love all the pockets and compartments. Very comfortable and practical! (Posted on 10/14/10)

Overall, quite pleased with the bag, though I'm not completely satisfied with how the straps kind of scrunch up where they attach to the bag. Other than that, it's a nice durable bag. (Posted on 9/11/10)
