My husband had a jansport bag when he was I high school many years ago and spoke highly of the brand so when it came down to our boys going though 3 or more backpacks a year I made the decision to buy a good quality bag so jansport it was. I bought this for my oldest daughter who is in High School and let's just say not the easiest to shop for. She had to have pink so I scoured every store looking for her pink backpack. I eventually gave up and started looking on the internet. I found this one on your website and the price was less than what they were selling them at the stores, and that included S&H. I have just started using my 3rd JanSport bag in the last 22 years. My daughter needed a new bag for high school and wanted the racer yellow. Bag King was the only company online to stock the bag and the price was equal to the cheapest price I could find. I ordered the bag and it came into me as Bag King said it would. My only demur is that Bag King should double bag the item. In other words a clear plastic bag shrink wrapped over the backpack, THEN that put into the shipping bag. When you don't do this, the straps of the backpack move. So I ended up cutting one of the straps almost half way through because of this. Amazon.com double wraps so this is not an issue with them. Other than that, it is as advertised. Moral of the story, double wrap before shipping. (Posted on 9/4/11)

I love the backpack. It's made of good quality canvas and will last for years. Since I'm a small person, the backpack is just a little too big for me! Even after adjusting the straps, it hits too low on my back. Otherwise, I think it's great. (Posted on 7/9/11)

I bought my kids new backpacks at the beginning of the school year and two weeks later the zippers were already broken. It has been a couple of months so far with these new bags from Bag King and my kids backpacks are holding up very well. The price is $10.00 cheaper per bag as compared to the ones sold at Target! Overall, I'm happy with my backpack. I love the color (white and purple magic plaid). The two pockets are all I really need for now. I like having specific spots for pens/pencils and school supplies in the smaller pocket, helps stuff stay organized.

I was NOT impressed with the quality of the fabric when it arrived. HOWEVER, when I voiced my concerns to the company I was immediately assured that ALL JANSPORT Backpacks come with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE!
