Dakine 101 Backpack

Pros: It's a good looking backpack, and comfortable. The material holds up well and is durable, even to a new puppy biting/scratching it and so on. The Forden look is great, just as good as it looked online. It's pretty good on space, not quite as big as my last one, but way more durable, comfortable, and attractive. I do have some trouble carrying more than one textbook, my notebooks and my computer at the same time, but it still fits.

Problems: The chest strap that slides up and down came off, but it wasn't broken. I got it back on by using some pliers to smash the fabric rail it slides on and then pushing the c-shaped clamp over it and sliding it down... it'd make sense if you saw it, the point being that the backpack is hardy and even if it comes apart it's repairable.

Cons: The water bottle holder is kinda dumb and doesn't hold things very well because it's not tight enough. Also there's a pocket that is in the liner that touches your back that I don't really have any use for; not really sure what it's intended for either. (Posted on 9/30/11)
